In keeping with the distinctiveness of our Catholic schools, the YCDSB believes that a student Dress Code fosters: a sense of belonging and pride; a safe and respectful environment for learning and teaching; and a confident and positive sense of self and respect for the dignity and welfare of others.
At Canadian Martyrs, an appropriate dress code continues to be in effect. As such, students are expected to dress for school in appropriate attire. Clothing items worn to school should reflect the increasing physical maturity of students and demonstrate a sense of modesty that is conducive for learning.
